Immediately following the Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe vs. Wade, making abortions illegal at a federal level, Disney and Dick’s Sporting Goods let all employees know that the company would pay for the travel expenses of any and all employees who want to get an abortion in another state where it is legal.
Dick’s Sporting Goods will even pay up to $4,000.
Disney was also quick to remind all employees that they have the same option available to them under their current benefits plan.
These definitely aren’t the only two large companies to be offering this right now and many more will likely hop on board in the following days.
